In 2020, I borrowed my mom's camera to learn how it worked so I could photograph my own family, along with a small hope of starting my own business. My first wedding was my own sister's, and one long, crazy, God-filled story later, I was photographing families and their loved ones in all their big and special moments. My absolute favorite things to capture are people's emotions and connections - their love for one-another, their joy, their personalities and quirks, and, in a big picture sense, how God sees them - perfect and beautiful!
Being a photographer is a natural extension of who I am as a person. I love people, I love celebrating with them, and being there for them for all their big moments. So many of my clients return to me after their wedding for maternity and family photos because we become instant friends. And hopefully we can be friends, too!

am so excited you're here! So who am I? In a nutshell, everything I do is for my family. I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, and a friend. My husband is my FAVORITE human in the world. We love taking our family on all sorts of adventures - from traveling, running (yes, we are that crazy Thanksgiving 5k family), competitive game nights playing "Catan," and summer s'more nights around our backyard fire-pit. Simply put, we love doing life together.

My favorite thing in the whole world is my family - my husband of almost 20 years and our three wild, wonderful children. We homeschool, so our days are messy and beautiful, full of laughter and a ton of chaos. They are my favorite people.

Inspired by my parents' love for the mountains, I grew up loving it all - from hiking the rugged trails, camping under a blanket of stars, and soaking in every inch of God's wild, beautiful creation. There's nothing like the crunch of leaves underfoot or the crisp air hitting your lungs to make you feel alive and at peace. When I'm in nature, I feel closer to God.
Now I love exploring it with my family - from family bike rides to splashing on the beach, and snapping photos of every jaw-dropping view. Whether it's the kids' giggles or the golden light painting shimmering through the trees, I'm out there soaking in as much life as I can.

I've been a loyal client of Brittney's since 2020, when she first captured my engagement photos.
